Outside is winter dark,
Help me dreams to keep
So they may later spark;
Day is so sleepy now
Under this sully sky,
Gladness it disavow
Till spring will revivify.

Lull me with your wings
Into your night fantasy,
Moon to the sun sings
Of what I might there see;
Turning away from reality
Finding a way unknown,
What shall there be shall be
Under this night gown.

Lull me to new dreams
I didn't know before,
Magical all of it seems
Opening a dream door;
Restless are all longings
Anticipating and waiting,
To and fro in moody swings
Each our dream is dating.
